Kinetic Art and Technology is grateful to be associated with the companies and organizations listed below. It has been our privledge to service and partner with other technology pioneers. Below is a summary of our relationship with a few of our partners.

Lynx Motion Technology was launched in 1996 as a way to market the innovative technology being develped by KAT. Lynx cooperates with KAT on several levels, forging commercial partnerships, licensing SEMA technology, educating the market, and managing commercial projects. Lynx has helped create mutually beneficial relationships with the companies below, as well as others not listed here. To learn more about Lynx and market segments still unclaimed for SEMA licensing, please visit their website: www.lynxmotiontechnology.com

Bodine Electric Company's new e-TORQ™ direct drive motor system represents a revolutionary approach to electric motor design. Incorporating the KAT's SEMA technology, patented e-TORQ™ motors have the potential to alter the way engineers approach rotary motion. The unique coil configuration made possible by the SEMA design results in unparalleled smooth perfomance in a small and efficient package. These babies rock, but they don't cog. Please visit this site to learn the many unique features and benefits. Visit Bodine's e-TORQ™page to learn more.

Oak Ridge National Laboratories has worked with the KAT engineering team in the past, refining the design and usefulness of SEMA technology and specifically assisted in the development of inverter technology that will maximize the usefulness of SEMA motors in hybrid vehicle applications. ORNL participated with Lynx Motion Technology, KAT and Delco Remy in the development of a hybrid electric vehicle traction motor under the DOE sponsored AEMD program. A technical team was established and mets quarterly to monitor progress, establish direction and demonstrate development milestones. The picture to the right shows a SEMA motor on a test stand during one of the phases of the ORNL coorperative development programs.
